The Farsight Vision app can now convert building plans into tactical 3D scenes
The tool allows users to convert a two-dimensional building plan into a 3D model for tactical planning and mission simulation

The Ukrainian-Estonian company Farsight Vision has launched a new Floor Plan feature in the FSV App. The tool allows users to upload a two-dimensional building or room plan and convert it into a 3D model suitable for tactical planning and mission simulation.
A 2D image can be uploaded via the FSV Platform, after which users can adjust the layout, send the finished plan to their account, and place the object under the “Objects” – “Custom” section. The user can then move into the simulation.
It supports virtual reality mode, and fighters have access to realistic weapon models. The developers say the feature was designed primarily for special operations units, including preparation for counter-terrorism operations and building clearance.
FSV App is a VR and Android application for operation modelling and UAV/UGV navigation support. It allows users to create routes accounting for obstacles and line-of-sight zones, analyse radio signal propagation to optimise antenna placement and UAV routes, and more.
Last month, the app also gained the ability to model a stable link coverage zone between a pilot and a UAV. The company adds that Floor Plan is part of the system’s broader expansion towards tactical planning in urban operations.
